More information below.
How To Run Your Email Campaign
Your email campaign consist of, among other things, presenting to your potential customer or subscriber the same offer again and again. Research on visitor sales statistics indicate that visitors buy after seeing the same offer about 5 or 7 times. Once in a while will come the impulsive buyer. But these are few and far between. So How do you get visistors to buy? How do you present your offer repeatedly to your potential customers. How do you make them to keep coming back to see the same offer over and over?.
The only way is through establishing a channel of communication. Start your own email campaign. This can be done by building a mailing or opt in list. Through your list of subscribers you can operate an effective email campaign.
Care must be taken to build a good and clean opt-in list. One way to do this is by adopting the double opt-in method. When visitor to your site subscribe to your newsletter, ask them to confirm their subscription. Provide a link for them to click on to confirm their subscription. This ensures that the recipient of your newsletter actually subscribed to it. Also an easy unsubscribe process should be provided. This makes your newsletter look professional.
To prevent people unsubscribing, give them good and usefull content. For example you could spice your newsletter with :
1. Websites where they can get free tools and software.
2. Contests
3. Usefull and timely information e.g news, latest Internet trend etc.
4. Opportunity for subscribers to promote their websites in your newsletter.
The objective is to build trust and maintain the communication link. Building a good email list is done graduuly and with pesistence. The reward of a good and large list is immence. A large list present the opportunity to take in adverts. This is another source of online revenue for you.
You could also sell directly to your subscribers by recommending products.
You could run surveys with your list. These surveys provide usefull data on your subscribers and customers. Data obtained could be used to improve your website or selling process.
How do you get your visitor to subscribe?
One way successfull internet marketers have been using is to offer some incentive to site visitors. Just indicating that your newsletter is free is not enough. There are thousands of free newsletters on virtually any subject on the internet. So why should someone be inclined to your newletter. Offer them a free ebook, or a free report or better still a contest with rewards for new subsribers. Some subscribers are tricky though. They use a new free email address , not their usuall one, just to get the free ebook. After that, they unsubscribe or never use the address again. A free 3 or 5 part report is better. Because you have to send the report over a period of days or weeks. However, statistics show that organizing a contest is much better.
How do you run your email campaign?
Organising and mailing your email list is easy intially. But as your list grow into hundreds, you should look to automating the whole process. You can use a software or an email management service. Automation can help you in several ways. For personalization of your emails. With hundreds of addresses, personalization becomes very tedious. Imagine writing every email with your subscribers' first name.
1. Automatic subscribe and unsubscribe functions.
2. Schedule date and time to send emails. Just write your content, set the date and time, and your emails go out as schedule automatically.
3. Tracks total number of clicks sent out. This enables you know which promotional efforts are paying off.
4. You can send your email in text or html.
In order to be successfull online you have to automate your email campaign process. How early you do this depends on you. Automating this at the early stage of your list building is highly recommended. It gives you plenty of time to concentrate on other important aspects of your business.

Cheers !
